Big news from the world of the living:
We’re launching a collaboration – ahorn x THE SCHOOL OF DEATH!
THE SCHOOL OF DEATH is a nomadic salon for anyone curious about the end and all things letting go. Founded by
filmmaker Janna Maria Nandzik, it moves between the mystical and the practical, creating spaces for thought, conversation,
screenings, rituals, talks, and workshops – with a community of philosophical and poetic minds from around the world. You might find it popping
up in French restaurants, bars, reading rooms – and now, it's landing at ahorn Space at Hermannplatz, Berlin Neukölln.
ahorn is a forward-thinking initiative within Germany’s largest funeral group, created in 2024 to reimagine how we approach death and life transitions. Inspired by the depth and complexity of these moments, ahorn brings innovation, inclusion, transparency, and digital culture into the funeral space. Led by journalist and Death Doula Charlotte Wiedemann, ahorn bridges tradition with new perspectives – through projects like the acclaimed TikTok channel @dertod_undwir and collaborations across sectors.
